Concept
The DBEW forum discusses the cultural value and identity of Asia in terms of constructing harmonious designs for a sustainable society. It aims to discover shared values of Asian nations and expand it to a value embraceable both by the East and West, attaining a new design orientation. It will question the orientation of a ‘Harmonious design for the future: Design Beyond East & West’ to design leaders, who have a broad experience in diverse design areas (designer, researcher, educator, administrator, media, etc). The forum hopes to continually contribute to the spread of Asian value and the interaction between the East and West.
