DesignUP – Continuity Solutions

DesignUP – Continuity Solutions is a thematic focus within the permanent collection of the Compasso d’Oro Award. The selection of objects and design methodologies presented tells each product as the result of a complex system: a network of relationships, skills, and innovations that contribute to making many iconic objects of Italian design unique.

The exhibition highlights the distinctive features of what we now call Made in Italy, showing how design culture has profoundly influenced the country’s development. Design has humanized industrial production processes, reshaped the service sector, supported the growth of industrial districts by fostering dialogue with science and technology, and played a key role in the transformation of the manufacturing system.

Through this perspective, Italian design has positioned itself in the high-end segment of international markets, becoming a globally recognized point of reference.
