HORO – The Digital Archive of the Compasso d’Oro
HORO is the digital portal dedicated to preserving and promoting the documentary heritage of the Compasso d’Oro Award and ADI – the Association for Industrial Design.
Designed as a tool for research, study, and consultation, it collects and provides access to materials that tell the story of over seventy years of Italian design through:
- detailed descriptions of each edition of the Compasso d’Oro Award
- profiles of projects awarded the Compasso d’Oro and Honorable Mentions
- an archive of historical documents and photographs
- a library and periodicals section (with complete bibliographic records and summaries)
The portal is intended for researchers, professionals, students, and design enthusiasts. It serves as a key resource for exploring the cultural and design value recognized by the Compasso d’Oro Award.
HORO was created with funding from the European Union – Next Generation EU, as part of the Italian PNRR program – Digital Transition for Cultural and Creative Organizations.
