Unique Piece – Interweaving of Shapes and Materials
Don Ferrante’s Library
Designed by Gerardo Monizza

An installation inspired by Chapter 27 of The Betrothed (I Promessi Sposi) by Alessandro Manzoni, in which the author humorously critiques the limitations of the seventeenth-century intellectual: confined within the walls of a library of only three hundred volumes, poor in subjects, conservative and scarcely curious, closed within his own convictions.

Curated by Enaip and Asprolegno in collaboration with the Municipality of Cantù
