SCISCIORÉ
SCISCIORÉ, curated by Anna Quinz, explores design from Trentino-Alto Adige through the lens of play: a design landscape where tradition and experimentation, craftsmanship and industry, technical rigour and imaginative freedom coexist. Inspired by the Ladin word for the game of marbles, the project brings together historical objects, design icons, contemporary products and prototypes, offering a lively and layered overview that moves beyond Alpine stereotypes.
The exhibition unfolds across ten sections — Naturalia, Fantastic Animals, Figures, Rootedness, High Altitude, Round Dance, Interlocking, Children’s Room, Ball Game, Balancing Acts — and takes the form of an open, dynamic playground, where shapes, materials and languages enter into dialogue through resonance and association. From traditional masks to industrial products, from masters of design to new generations of designers, SCISCIORÉ presents a vision of design capable of transforming mountain knowledge into a contemporary imaginary.
