The exhibition features a selection of photographs by Lorenzo Capellini, documenting a period of great cultural ferment at the Venice Biennale during the presidency of Carlo Ripa di Meana. The images portray the events and artistic activities that took place between 1974 and 1978, capturing the vibrant and innovative atmosphere of those years.

Among the documented exhibitions are projects curated by Vittorio Gregotti for the Art and Architecture sectors, such as Le Macchine Celibi, Proposals for the Mulino Stucky, the exhibition on Rationalism during Fascism, and the renowned Ambiente/Arte curated by Germano Celant.

The exhibition also includes images of international showcases, such as Freedom for Chile, Spain – Artistic Avant-Garde and Social Reality, and the Art Biennale From Nature to Art, From Art to Nature.

Significant space is devoted to Theatre, with major figures such as Peter Brook, Bob Wilson, the Living Theatre, Jerzy Grotowski, Eugenio Barba, Ariane Mnouchkine, and Dacia Maraini. In the Music and Dance sectors, highlights include the Anton Webern Orchestra conducted by Marcello Panni and the International Dance Meetings.

The exhibition concludes with a section dedicated to Cultural Dissent, featuring exhibitions and discussions on art and politics in Eastern European countries, including The New Soviet Art.
