ADI Design Index 2026
The new edition of ADI Design Index presents a selection of 340 projects, divided into 14 categories, offering a map of contemporary Italian design and its transformations. Products, services, systems, research and new languages illustrate the evolution of design culture and its relationship with technological, productive, environmental and social change.
The selection is based on the work of the ADI Permanent Design Observatory, which assesses projects not only from a formal point of view, but also in relation to innovation, function, materials and technologies, sustainability, accessibility and their relationship with users.
The 2026 edition also presents the second edition of the ADI Study Centre Report, which relates the Index data to the country’s economic, productive and social transformations.
The ADI Design Index 2026 selection marks the first step towards the XXX Compasso d’Oro ADI, scheduled for spring 2028.
