T.12 Palini school chair

An object intended for usage in large numbers as part of the renewal of the Italian education system. Perfectly sized, stackable and with the correct technological simplicity, the T 12 Palini school chair was awarded the 1960 Compasso d'Oro. In particular, notice should be taken of the new metal tube welding system whose simple rhythm highlights the solidity and lightness of the chair, thereby providing an example of the aesthetic use of a new technique.
