In the Kartell KS 1481 lemon squeezer, which was awarded the Compasso d'Oro 1959, the details of the function have been carefully re-studied in order to obtain an entirely new shape which, through a measured dimensional interplay of the individual parts, manages to enhance and justify the use of a recently introduced plastic material within mass production processes
