Kitchen utensils in gift box

The “La Rinascente Compasso d'oro 1956 Award” went to the Lagostina set of kitchen utensils for the care with which the individual components were designed and manufactured, and the intelligent way in which the packaging was conceived via an original arrangement in a cylindrical container already in production (and also aesthetically correct). The award was also intended to testify to the entire technological quality of Lagostina manufactured products and the seriousness with which any gratuitous and unchecked formal intervention is carefully avoided
